Liverpool specialist bakers Treaty Pie went above and beyond to raise funds for charity this month, when they took part in the legendary Tough Mudder challenge, in support of the Big Help Project (Knowsley Foodbank).

Staff from the independent bakers raised £455 after taking part in the notoriously difficult course that is designed to push body and mind to the limit, all within a famously muddy environment. The funds raised will support the Big Help Project in their work to alleviate and eradicate poverty across Knowsley and the wider city region.

Co-founder and CEO of Treaty Pie, Heather Tomlinson, said “we were so pleased to be able to raise these funds as a team for such an important charity, and we are planning more fundraising adventures for the Big Help Project in the coming months.”

Michele Duckworth, Fundraiser at the Big Help Project said “we are delighted that Treaty Pie chose us as their charity for this event. The Tough Mudder course is incredibly challenging, and we truly appreciate the generosity and commitment the team showed in competing the course and raising this fantastic amount for us.”
